Non-Medical Home Care FAQ

What does non-medical home care include?

It may include companionship, personal care assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, and transportation. Services are personalized during the consultation.

Can you support someone living with dementia?

Yes. We provide non-medical companionship, familiar routines, patient cueing, meal support, and assistance with everyday activities. We do not diagnose or provide skilled medical treatment.

Do you administer medications?

No. We can provide reminders and help keep established routines on track, but we do not administer medications or perform nursing tasks.

Can you provide rides to appointments?

Transportation may be included for medical appointments, grocery shopping, errands, and local outings when arranged as part of the care plan.

Red Canyon Senior Services serves St. George, Ivins, Washington, Santa Clara, and nearby Southern Utah communities.
